


Efflorescence is our 10-minute stop-motion fantasy short film following Hearst, an exploited artist attempting to break free from his captor. Developed in the Bachelor of Film and Media Production program at Humber College, due to COVID 19 were are now an independent production. Efflorescence is a proof of concept for director Charlotte E. Chambers working feature script currently called Bloom.

Synopsis
In the rolling hills of Wittern Isles, in the small village of Amiens, Hearst Creux struggles to provide for his family after a bad harvest on their family farm. After accepting a proposal to paint the village’s 1000th-year anniversary mural a “rare paint” knocks him unconscious and he awakens to find himself alone at the bottom of a cavernous well. A threat laid down upon his family, he must find a way to escape!
