Come back for updates!
Many resources were used and a lot of research was done while creating some of the sets that we made so far! We used a lot of different materials such as popsicle sticks, tongue suppresses, bake and air dry clay, hot glue, fabric glue, acrylic paints, rocks, lead tape, LED mini lights, recycled cardboard, and plastic, and much more.

We first started with mapping out all the sets before building them. See below the floorplans.

Inside Hearst Creux's farmhouse.

Mural wall that Hearst is seen painting on the small village of Amiens.

The well that Hearst awakes in.

Théâtre du Séraphique is a famous theater in the large city of Vales.

The first set completed was the Creux Residence. The set was handcrafted by Brittney Gallagher and Charlotte E. Chambers. Here are some images behind the making of the Creux Residence.

Figure 1 - Process of creating the Creux Residence front door. Made with a cardboard base with popsicle sticks glued to it. The door frame is coffee stir sticks that have been steamed for malleability. Popsicle sticks were stained with watered-down acrylic paint. Stain glass is made of tissue paper and cardstock paper. The door handle and knocker are made from black baked polymer clay, dried brush with rust-brown acrylic paint, and glue to the door.

Figure 2 - Bookshelf before and after getting a wet acrylic wash. Made from popsicle sticks and cardboard.

Figure 3 - Fireplace before and after. Crafted with a cardboard base. Modeling paste was mixed with gray acrylic paint and applied to the cardboard. While still wet small rocks were pressed into the paste. A crumpled paper towel was dabbed on the paste to create texture. Inner walls were dry brushed black and the shelf was made with popsicle sticks and stained.
Figure 4 - Well/Mural set crate boxes. Made from cardboard, popsicle sticks, and coffee stir sticks. When used for the well set, they will be dirtied with moss growth.

Figure 5 - Flower boxes for Mural Set, before and after. Made from cardboard with popsicle stick pieces and a styrofoam plate painted black for poking small faux flowers in.

Final Cabinet and Pantry
Figure 6 - Process of creating farmhouse cabinets and pantry. The cabinet and pantry design was reworked. Made from a cardboard base, popsicle sticks, sculpted polymer clay handles. The edges of the cardboard were paper mache to hide the corrugated layers.

Figure 7 - Kettle. Made from aluminum foil, polymer clay, and primed with acrylic paint.

Figure 10 - Hook for Well set - used for transporting paintings, supplies, and food up and down the well. Made from black polymer clay, dry brushed with brown rust paint.

Figure 8 - Cooking pot hanging from the fireplace. Made from polymer clay and painted with black metallic paint.

Figure 9 - Chamberstick made from black polymer clay and white air dry clay. Base painted with black metallic paint.

Figure 11 - Creux Residence Windows. Made from cardboard, popsicle sticks, recycled clear plastic, and lead tape. Use caution when using lead tape - wear gloves to protect the skin.
